SIMBA – male kitten Selkirk Rex Longhair Straight Red Tabby

Description

Simba

Simba is a boy, born on 16 July 2026, so he is now 13 weeks old. His mother Ellody is a Selkirk Rex Shorthair with a short coat in tortie colours with white, and his father Ninjago is a British Shorthair, a breed that is allowed as an outcross for the Selkirk Rex. Both parents have an official pedigree. He is a Selkirk Rex Longhair.

He has a red, warm orange coat with a classic tabby pattern: broad, round stripes and a kind of swirl or butterfly on his flanks. His coat is semi-long and smooth (straight), so not curly. He is also an odd eyes carrier (heterochromia): two different eye colours, for example one blue and one yellow or green eye. He can pass this on to his kittens. This is the recessive form of odd eyes, not the dominant form called DBE (dominant blue eye).

He is not neutered. He has had three vaccinations: twice against cat flu and feline panleukopenia, and at 12 weeks again against cat flu and feline panleukopenia plus rabies. He has also received a flea treatment that works for three months.

Both mother and father have tested negative for the viral diseases FeLV (feline leukaemia) and FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus).

Price as a breeding cat (with TICA pedigree): from €3300. The buyer receives all necessary breeding documents: the health test results of both parents and any tests done on the cat itself.

This kitten comes from the stud Ninjago, who has odd eyes himself. You can see him on the Ninjago stud page.
