Remi

Remi is a Bengal female, born on 1 September 2025, so now just over a year old. Her mother Charlize and her father Onyx are both Bengals, so Remi is a Bengal. Both parents have an official pedigree.

Remi is a snow Bengal in the colour seal lynx point: the lightest snow colour, with a creamy white coat, light spots and darker ears, muzzle, paws and tail. This colour always comes with blue eyes. Her mother and father both carry the glitter gene twice, so Remi has glitter too: it makes her coat shimmer in the light.

Remi is not spayed. She has had three vaccinations: two against cat flu and feline panleukopenia (cat distemper), and at 12 weeks another one against cat flu and feline panleukopenia (cat distemper) plus rabies. She has also had a flea treatment that protects for three months.

Her parents have been DNA-tested for hereditary diseases. Both are clear of the two eye diseases and the blood disease most common in Bengals, and her father is clear of all 49 conditions he was tested for. Mother and father have both tested negative for the viral diseases FeLV (feline leukaemia) and FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus), and Remi herself was also tested in September 2026 and was negative for both. Her father had a heart ultrasound (echocardiogram) in May 2026, which showed no sign of the hereditary heart disease HCM.
